Welcome from the Chairs

IMCO 2019 continues a series of Conferences that provide a forum to promote scientific exchange and foster closer networks and collaborative ties between leading international optics and micro/nanofluidics researchers across cutting-edge research fields. Topics range from fundamental research to its applications in chemistry, physics, biology, materials and medicine. All the interdisciplinary topics and related aspects of Optofluidics are of interest in the conference such as micro/nanofluidics, optical devices and systems, plasmonics and metamaterial, biochemical sensors, imaging and display, fabrication and integration, energy and environment.

Best paper award is for students and/or postdocs who submit papers for IMCO 2019. Each year, Technical Program Committee (TPC) in Optofluidics recognizes serval excellent posters in the conference. The winner of the best poster will be given cash prize. To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for either an poster presentation before the relevant conference deadlines.
OSA Young Scientist Awards

Could you be the next winner of the OSA Award? The OSA Young Scientist Awards recognizes TWO outstanding young faculty members or young research scientists, who have shown great potential and have made scientific contribution in the field of multi-disciplinary research of optics, photonics, microfluidics and biomedical, and the related areas. The outstanding researchers will be nominated and selected for the OSA Young Scientist Awards. To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for an oral presentation before the relevant conference deadlines.
Innovation Awards

Number of Awards Available: 2

Could you be the next winner of Innovation Award? The Innovation Awards recognizes TWO excellent faculty and scientists who have made great contribution to the applications and industrial development of multi-disciplinary research of optics, photonics, microfluidics and biomedical, and the related areas. The outstanding researchers will be nominated and selected for the Innovation Awards. To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for an oral presentation before the relevant conference deadlines. In additional to the cash prize, the winner of the innovation award is invited to compose a research/review article for Micromachine journal. Nominees from all world regions will be considered but all nominees must: Be a PI Have submitted an abstract to Optofluidics and commit to attending the meeting. All nominations for the award must be received by before conference.
